Probably would've forgiven Ambrose, if Dixon kicked a couple today, given how bad our midfield was at defending with out the ball. 31 scoring shots, and Dixon didn't have a single one.

Intercept game has improved a bit over the last few weeks. Starting to take those contested marks.

Have you checked his supercoach champ? Only just managed to crack the half ton, get him off the list asap

In our top 3 most important players. Cannot have him out of a limp-wristed side for whatever reason.

I made a call at the start of the year that he may push for AA if injury free and while that is a big stretch he has been outstanding shutting guys down and providing a hard edge to the backline and the whole side.

Need 2 more of him to put around various positions on the ground.

Ambrose has seriously been good this year. What's impressed me is he's even been effective against bigger opponents which previously was a weakness of his.
He's pretty much become a Talia for us. You know he'll keep his man as quiet as possible and never give him an inch even if he doesn't offer much offensively.

A lot of us viewed him in competition with Francis but I actually think having a bloke that can run all day and lockdown will actually come to complement Francis rather than keep him out of the side.

He was solid enough against the Bulldogs, though Naughton caused him a few problems in the air and turning him inside out - He's an extremely reliable player.

Guys that can turn on a dime are probably the type of player that troubles him the most.
It's why he'd be no good as a stopped in the middle of the ground.

Not sure this bloke has lost a matchup all year. Doesn’t rack them up but doesn’t need to, beats just about every player he is put on, and his work tonight on Fyfe is no exception

Honestly thought Fyfe had a pretty big influence on the game still. Kept them in it. No disrespect meant to Ambrose, Fyfe is a favourite for the Brownlow for a reason.

Got to agree, we would have won by 50+ if not for Fyfe.
