Agreed, having Pickett and Stack should help. If not, have him fly to Perth post game a few times so he knows what to expect, hopefully he realises the cash just isn't worth it lol

GREAT game and effort by him, people overlook that when he plays seniors hes gotta be able to matched up and match motors with the selwoods, boaks and treloars of the midfield world, instead of a bunch of up n comers or crabs in the two's. that form will get the selectors tongues wagging tho for sure. rioli or butts most likely to get another wake up call.

For mine it's the way he doesn't do the team things that cost him his spot. A number of times he went for glory instead of doing the team thing and cost the team goals. Like guruisatiger I believe that Bolton will be a long term Richmond player but he needs to knuckle down and get the basics right before he worries about the highlight reel stuff. Once he gets that right the highlight reel stuff will happen just like it does with Betts.

Has to play the rest of the year in the AFL. I don't care if he's going he is the best of the smalls and playing AFL will raise his value if he leaves.

you are underestimsting how much of a scummy bloke carr is. he is a great manager in terms of making himself cash, I'll give him that. He is not a nice bloke and he has done his best to manipulate mostly young impressionable adults into doing what's best for his own wallet

Assuming Bolton makes the most of his talent, his best plan $ wise is to go to WA for a couple years then either sign a long term contract there or come back to Melbourne on some nice dollars. We need to keep him forever imo, will be worth it, and someone at the club needs to tell rolph to go eat sh|te

Great game by Bolton yesterday!!!

Really stood up and proved he deserved a opportunity.

His marking presence was very telling and his weaving and creativity at ground level was quite telling.

The forward line was far more threatening and potent with Bolton contributing along with Stack's involvement.

Terrific to see the youngsters making the most of their opportunity!!!
