Strong draft as well
Not a bad draft at all.
I'd go.
Taranto/Mccluggage/Bolton top 3.
Then you got the likes of Mcgrath/Berry/Ridley/Florent/Perryman/Marshall,Lipiski & Hayward.

Yeah hard to argue with that, even guys like Parfitt has settled into Geelong very well

Cumming looks good as gws as well but had a shocking run with injury

Talk that this years draft bats deep in a similar way so it’s exciting knowing we have loaded up for it

Look I have been banging on about this for years in the draft board ,

Bolton is the best player taken in the extraordinarily good draft class of 2016.

Taranto and Clug are both guns, but you wouldn't swap Bolton for them, not in a million years.

With Dusty out, Bolton has shown he can be the best player in the best team in the league

Absolute superstar

Can't wait for this years draft and what we end up with draft picks wise.

I'd be wrapped with any of the 3.

Looking at that, with such a strong draft hand the Gold Coast f**ked that draft up completely.

Bowes about the only one who's been consistent.
Ainsworth hasn't come on.
Brodie is a dud.

I knew he would be good after his first few games, but i had him pigeon-holed as a small fwd..

Did not see this type of form in the midfield coming, with the ability to go forward and kick goals too

He is an absolute jet and already in our top 5 players imo, could be 2nd by years end

Need to keep him at all cost

Is he staying or going?

He's staying but he won't sign until the home and away season is done. That's when his value will be at its highest.

It's the Ralph Carr formula.

here's ralph carr's management stable, bunch of richmond blokes + shai bolton's best friend quinton narkle

ralph knows shai is gonna be a star and would have it in his best interest to give shai his best career which is most likely gonna be at richmond for the next few years until free agency which would give him his big payday (and richmond should have an open cheque book at that stage should he require it)

I reckon he already is our 2nd best. He could be top 10 in the comp by years end.

Shai now has a very impressive resume .

He has 2 flags, finished 4th in the best and fairest in a premiership year .

And is now a key player in perhaps one of the greatest Richmond teams of all time, and he is 22.

The thing that sets Shai apart though is not his only impact on big games, it is his razzle dazzle

He is good enough to take mark of the year, and kick goal of the year ( he has done both in the VFL), but at the same time lead the team in contested possessions, clearances, and score involvements and metres gained.

It is early days, but Shai shows every sign of being an all time great of the club we love.

A pleasure to watch.
