Coaches view this kid as a Titch replacement. They’re trying him behind the ball and through the middle at VFL level. Hope he gets it all together he’s a super talent.

He is a midfielder/ winger. He definitely isn't a forward pocket specialist.
Agreed , I think the schooling off HB has helped him develop his game , his vfl numbers are much better from late last year where he reg was > 20p . Get him into the side , immediately

He actually played his whole junior career as a winger/ mid. We are the ones that shoved him in a forward pocket and expected him to be like Rioli just because he's indigenous.....

True hes a natural winger/hhf. I think we played him pocket bc of his tank. I recall them saying he needed 3-4 preseasons to build an afl tank, based on that, Im not surprised if he starts showing something this season
Was way to small to play as a midfielder 2y ago , has added a fair amount of size side then
Wasn't he a bit skinny too, couldn't stick tackles?
Kid was super exciting when he went at the ball, his leap was incredible.

Can definitely vouch for that statement had a huge leap down at the catteryby the sounds of the past few vfl match reports he has

Played as a winger/mid but, but, but he had/has no tank!?!
You don't need a huge tank as a junior if you have skill.....

That’s it the talent is there so play him ahead of others who have no where near his skill levels.
If he can play with even a small amount of the attacking flair he does in the 2s and at the same time play within the teams defensive structures/ game plan, he’ll become a permanent
Would definitely be an upgrade on Bellis.......
Not that that would be difficult......

He doesn't play BEllis' role. But right now some skills and speed in the mids would be valuable. Reckon Shai will get in soon.
