2km time trials

Where is M Clarke...? He usually streets the field.

Last year it was he, Pendles, R Shaw, and Wellingham who were the consistently the best distance runners...

It makes sense that R Shaw (goneski) and Pendles (probably rested due to IR) aren't there, but please tell me Wellingham hasn't dropped off the pace.

Judging by the photos, quite a few of the guys were probably taking it easy. For starters, I can't see Dawes edging Lockyer if both were going 100%.

I am not 100% sure on that - Don't think Tarks is overly Quick

It's 2km Dave, quickness has nothing to do with it. It's primarily an endurance race.
Well if that is the Case then Tarks would have more Endurance then Dawes because he is a Mid.

Remember it's 1st Day back training and I do agree some might not be going 100%

Dawes was a very good track athlete. Do not let size fool you about a guys ability to run. Never did 2km trials, we were made to do 7km.

Dawes sat 4 or 6 seat in the BGS First 8. You need good aerobic fitness to do that, try doing a 2 K or 5 K ergo compared to a 2 K run (which is a walk in the park in comparison).

Uh uh, they're all going to be pushing it a bit in the next week. Arizona's going to be quite a test for all involved, so they need to be in good nick even before they go.

I reckon Cloke and Dawes would do 2-3km in a canter for the first quarter of a match with the leads down to the wing!

With enough training you can even drop another 10-20 seconds :p
i always thought it should last about 10 minutes........

seeing as bra straps confuse the heck out of me (why do they need three ****en clips) i usually get he 10 minute mark pretty well lol.

There is way too many guys on this thread, wait until snag pays a visit

FLMAO.....some of them burly types can be sportin' bra's with 6-7 clips....it's like cracking a safe.....lol

It should last long enough before you start thinking to yourself... "Hey, I wonder how long it's been...". There's your cue to finish up.

Handy hint. Don't try to take them off one clip at a time. Pinch each side of the strap carefully between forefinger and thumb, push together towards the backbone gently until all the clips release at once and then slowly pull apart and let gravity take hold. Et voila! If you grab a bottle of wine and a plate of cheese and crackers you can make an afternoon of it practicing with yer partner (or good friend) :)

Please, let us for the sake of humanity, and any children viewing this thread..let's have our common sense fully apparent.:D
