Cricket is now in serious trouble, it is out of control and the authorities have problems. It is either officiated by incompetence or it's corrupt. Cricket has become farcical and now unwatchable.

I thought it looked like it went through his hands and touched the ground before he brought it up, anyway wasn't conclusive evidence to give it

Also whilst Smith went yep, caught it straight away, as he was walking to the huddle he looked a lot less sure, saying yeah I think so but not confident

I'm a massive umpire apologist. I think, generally, they do a fantastic job and get unjust criticism for 2 or 3 incorrect decisions in a match. Contrary to most cricket fans, for the most part, I thought Dar and Dharmesena were fine at Trent Bridge. I appreciate that people are a bit dismayed at the moment because of the perceived lack of luck we've had in this Test series, but the 'cheat' calls really grind my gears. However...

EVERY ******* UMPIRE IN THIS TEST SERIES CAN **** OFF FOR ALL I CARE. ABSOLUTE ******* DISGRACE.

protocol is out the window

For the next 8 and half test matches we do not walk, even if we hit it to fine leg.
we do not accept their word on a catch even if they took it above their head
We run for overthrows even if it rebounds off bat/body
Mankad is a legitimate form of dismissal.

Warney letting rip and not letting go haha. Great to hear.
Even Gower is angry.
Gower is still shaking his head.Really sours a great test rivalry this DRS BS.

Especially when the third umpire has all the evidence and still gives him not out.

Did that third umpire put the Memphis 3 in jail?

Erasmus has got to have the guts to give that out. As soon as it goes upstairs you know it's going to be inconclusive. It's not going to matter a whole lot in the context of the match but a wicket's a wicket. Or should be.
It's an interesting point. They just don't make a call on those sort of decisions anymore. Straight upstairs, then they get it wrong...

Does that apply to posting on bigfooty?
