Having Agar bowl leg side and try and put maiden pressure o n them is fine, except they are scoring off it. Seems pointless. Either use two spinners, and attack with them, or take the new ball. Preferably the latter.

I think its a little better than that because of clarke and our tail. But it's definitely no better than New Zealand and West indies.
West Indies when Shiv was on top of things. I've thought that for a while. It's because of the averages of the players and the continual f***witterry of the batsmen's shot selections.

Mark Taylor is sounding pretty angry and a bit heartbroken.

This is soft and yet our bowlers have busted their arses off to get us into winning positions only to see a punch of utter dumb ****s throw away any advantage we have had.

They better hit the nets and ******* improve and show some fight and show some character in the next 3 test matches and even in the next innings.

If CA had any sense they would cancel the Indian tour for the good of aussie cricket, What good is a short term gain in money if the long term is that the punters don't even bother to go to the test matches due to our insipid perfomances.

Well, what exactly did Tubbs expect? How much PR bullshit do these guys swallow about the current team? They are involved in cricket, they must have known that we were one bad series from Clarke away from annihilation.

I would assume that he expected us to at least fight as would many other people.

A comment on the BBC text website made me smile:

"With all these reviews on every dismissal, can you see a day where the umpires are just replaced with a hat stand?"

As some of the decisions in this match have been pretty hat-stand anyway, it looks to me like they're well on their way... :)
