What's upsetting is that they're getting us out with the most elementary "tactics".

Full and straight to Watson, he'll miss one and get LB.
Regulation offies outside off then fire in the arm ball.
A bunch of short ones to force Clarke on the back foot then fire in the yorker.
An over of booming outswingers then fire in the big inswinger.

It's not rocket science, yet our blokes seem incapable of dealing with it.

Glenorchy, Arsenal,
Watto is a decent number 6
Shane Watson came into the side as an all-rounder unfortunately his batting is no longer good enough to hold a top six position and he does not bowl enough to be picked as a bowler. Next stop should be a quick exit from the team time to rebuild.
Due to his body and his mental attitude never become the talent he could have been (The next Keith Miller) ended up the next Gus Gilmore

Since the start of 2011 he has made 819 runs at 25.59, can someone tell me how Shane Watson is still our opening batsman?
Because he'd make 24 runs more than the next bloke...lol! Our batting is that bad. Plus that next bloke can't bowl either. Sad to say he has the most runs this series from our batsman and one of the few that look like a batsman. Tells us where we're at.

Sadly, I'd be getting some back from the A tour in SA and blooding them for the return home series.

I'll be interested to see if Lehmann is as good a coach as people say he is.

Because I can't see how he can possibly leave a player with such a blatant and fatal technical flaw as Watson in the opening position.

See my sig.

Culture.

Lehman has to earn his money with Watson.

Gotta coach that stride across the stumps and plying across the line of the ball out of him. If anything, he needs to come forward out of crease to take LBW out of the picture.

Probably suit his agressive nature as well.
You're thinking a big stride DOWN the pitch; Hayden style?

I like it.

Which is considerably higher than mine now.

I don't mind losing - I've seen it enough in my time.

Gutless capitulation, coupled with rank stupidity, is quite another.
This is unrecognisable as an Australian cricket team, at least the one we've come to know over the past 20 years. We look like a shittier version of New Zealand.
