Well spotted

It's what I saw first.

Well second.

First was I thought this was an older photo of Perkins since him and Durham look alike.

Good to see Darce chewing the fat with Durham on the finer details of midfield life.

Would’ve thought the lower centre of gravity is an advantage there tbh

Depends, height and weight tend to correlate, so being heavier versus a lower centre of gravity, or ability to run.

6'-6'2" used to be the sweet spot, now we're seeing mids out to 6'4" that aren't really sacrificing on tank or strength over the ball

Parish looks absolutely primed for another huge season.

Used very sparingly in the lead up games but looked mint when on the ball.

When they were hiding him in the forwardline you could see his polish when the ball was in his vicinity, could win it, take the physical contact, then get it away to a team-mate. Looks like both Parish & Merrett are in shape to continue where they left off in 2021.

surprised this guy isnt copping more heat after the game. Considering how great he was last year this was a real step back from him with most of his possessions racked up when the game was over.
He had really worked on his disposal by foot last year and when he did choose to kick on saturday he generally chose the right option, but too often he chose instead to handball to someone under pressure instead. It really felt like a flashback to worsfold era parish.
