Yep, the saddest part is this is in no way shape or form a shock or surprising. His body cannot handle AFL footy anymore.
8, 14, 22, 13, 25, 9 ,9 is his games played since 2015. That's a hell of a lot of footy missed through injury.
Still dont regret the trade - 3 Premierships and he was a core member of the midfield
Agree, but now it's time to start thinking of building the midfield without him. His body can't be trusted.

Yeh thats going to hurt us hard. The bloke won't play a complete season again. 16 games in a year would be a good result, that's a big problem.

From someone who's done a few hammy's, they way he was walking and the speed he was walking would suggest it was right at the minor end...
But, knowing his history, it could be worse or we could take the ultra cautious approach

I dont think his contract will hurt us. Maybe 3 retirements this year will all save salary cap, plus 2 or 3 delisted gives us as many picks as we can use really. Otherwise we push prestia out for spot 100 in the draft. He will hang around as an elder statesman until his contract finishes
