Yes well and the "victor" can on occasion realise hmmm, maybe my victory was hollow. Sometimes second place is often the win.
Don't want to derail from the Jed chat, but if you can get in a time machine and successfully explain that concept to my ex, you would have saved a lot of bruises from my forehead banging against a wall.

As you were.

mmmm
I find that confusing….
But isn’t the point that by being vaccinated you have a lot less chance of catching it…..so then if you don’t catch it well you won’t pass it on
That was the point.

But when put to practice it's galloping along nicely regardless of your vaccination status

LOL, See it depends who wins the toss and if they elect to stay or leave. That plays a huge part in the outcome. Especially if they leave and then want to return
So bitterness won't allow you to see it as a just outcome. But alas life is easier with smart choices.
This is Passmores fault anyways.

Well you don't go through what I have for the last two years without getting a good understanding of what is important.
It's been one disaster after another and the covid is the greatest walk in the park out of the lot of them. Lucky for the majority the covid has been earth shattering.

try nearly dying for one, then lose ya Ma, ya marriage , plenty more as well. And as the great zonder will state, they'll soon get it.

If I recall correctly his contract extension at the end of last year was late to be announced, and the rumour was that he was holding out for a longer one but Rawlings didn't budge. I wouldn't say the writing is on the wall, but we HAVE stocked up on midfielders and Jed has had pervasive injury issues so it's not a stretch to say that before this current issue there was a degree of 'Watch This Space' about his longevity at the club.

Offers a hell of a lot on the field and when he's fit and firing, and it's not like he's actually old, but I'm of the opinion there will be quite the squeeze applied in regards to the midfield very soon. We simply have too many recent draftees whose tanks etc are improving for it not to be an issue sooner or later.
If frog can be frog marched out then they could jed march jed out

Yeh it is and i know why, But can they tell me if the vaccines wont affect my boys in some way in 10 years ?
They can also have a bad reaction the the vaccine too you know. I want to know more about them.
Doing it for others is great but i will protect my boys no matter what infront of anyone. Might be a difficult and confusing concept for you Captain Covid but that's the way it is in my house.
Hear f@&$ing hear.
I read recently about delayed and shorter than normal periods in some women from Pfizer jab.
Not sure how often this has occurred or how serious. But I will have a robust conversation with our family doctor before my 10 year old daughter gets the jab. She and her future is my number one priority.

I know this is a difficult and confusing subject but isn’t the point that IF your kids have it THEY PASS IT ON TO OTHER PEOPLE
so the idea is to……..
Dear God, 2 years in and we just keep going over the same old ground
So you are sysing that the vaccine stops infection and transmission?? You're still claiming that? OK then

The NT recently had a lockout for the unvaxxed in which they were restricted to home except for medical purposes and getting food. Prior to that there have been no restrictions to anyone. It only come into effect this Monday that you have to show your vaccination status to certain establishments like pubs and the casino etc.
All medical purposes?

That is not true. Although the vaccinated can catch and pass on Covid they do so at materially lower rates than the unvaccinated do.
Maybe not with Omicron.

Australia is 90%+ vaccinated and its spreading like wildfire.

All medical purposes?

Yes.

I saw Jed at Casuarina before Xmas. No unvaxxed person has been restricted going anywhere when there has not been a lockout.

Do you live in Darwin?

No but I read something about the lockout coming to an end a week or more ago.

Before 2021 he'd missed six or eight games in three years.

That is hardly pervasive injury issues.

2020 was only a 17 games season so he did well that year. Same as 2018.
But he does have significant injury history they have been his only years he has played 80% of games.

Played quite a bit of VFL for Hawthorn in those 3 years - not necessarily always injured.
Its a North board thing.
Players who miss 3-4 games a year are deemed to have ''had a good year injury wise.''
When clearly the clubs who have players play 22 games finish higher up the ladder.
We set a low bar if you think Jed plays enough games for us.

Since he worked hard on his endurance he missed 6 or 8 games over 3 seasons then got an impact injury. Over the same time LDU played 30 games. 10 a season. LMac has missed 1/3 - to half a season in half the years of his career. He's had 2 of those years in the last 3 seasons. Players who play the way Jed does will get impact injuries. Look at Greenwood. Or Jack.

This year JY, Goldie, McKay, Turner and Larkey all played 22 games. Ziebell, TT and Josh Walker all played 21. Hall, Zurhaar and LDU all played 20 (40% of his total career games!)

That's actually more than I thought. Its good to see young mids and some important young KPPs in that group (and Zurhaar as well.)

You pretty much named all our really good players bar Cunners.
Continuity is everything.
Jed needs a whole year without an injury. Poor bugger has had a bad trot of it.
The Dees for example had 17 play 20 or more games.
9 play every game.
My theory is everyone seems ok injury wise when you have Garner and co floating around.

Played quite a bit of VFL for Hawthorn in those 3 years - not necessarily always injured.

Between 2013 and 2017, Anderson played 25 games for Box Hill and 13 for Werribee.

I also don't think pneumonia should be considered an injury or being a fringe player at a team that won 3 flags.
