Glad he made good use of his time when he didn't have the ball then.

Do yours better. We have JUST been through this.
Ease up dickhead. It was only a question.

And I still can't see how it cost is TWO first round picks
Wowee. Boy oh boy. Shinboners turning on their own now?

Let me just say this. Ryan Burton came second in the Rising Star. Second. Let that sink in.

In: Jed Anderson, Ben McKay, Ryan Clarke
Out: Ryan Bastinac, Ryan Burton, Sam Collins, Kayle Kirby

History won't judge this trade too badly.

Burton & Clarke cancel each other out, and I would wager McKay turns out to be the next best player of the three remaining draftees.
the 2nd round upgrade was always the silver lining in this deal, unfortunately jed was the steak knives.

There can be only one...
I know people hate him on here - but i rekon hes ok.
I don't hate any of our players, I just didn't see much from his footy which showed indifications that he would make the grade, that doesn't mean I don't want it to happen. Looking at Simpkin play, even when he didn't get much of the ball he had some moves, did a few things which gave you a taste of the potential. I just didn't see any obvious signs from Jed.

I think perhaps he could be converted into a shut down smaller defender, I think the qualities he has might suit a defender more than a forward/mid. I think he has the mindset and the physical qualities to be a good defender and at 179cm/81kg could be a good match opposite Marley to play on the smaller forwards, especially if we are giving Mullet the chop.
