Hardly sighted today. Disappointing. Maybe it was a false dawn, Maddadam???
Lol
And to think if he kicked that running goal, he may not have got injured. Sliding Doors hey? Bit like when Lance Armstrong stepped onto the moon. If he'd rolled his ankle, who knows what could've been?

i am very worried about this injury as he is one of the inform players and the catalyst of our success thus far. Could this injury derail his momentum that he has finally achieved. This is his final year, this is the crossroad year for him, he is just starting to look good and another hamstring injury. He is turning 25 soon, if you haven't established yourself at 25 as a midfield then you are close to the finish line.

He really did look like he was feeling pretty good on the boundary line last week, doing stride throughs etc. this week, next week and even the week after should see him right.

I can guarantee that Jed is very safe for another contract. The club is merely being ultra conservative (as said above) with the bye the week after. We're now in the rarified position that we have depth to cover a whole range of positions. We will miss Jed's intensity yes however if the team as a whole maintains the collective intensity it's shown for most of the year then I think we'll be ok.

Our side is so much better with Jed in there however so can't wait to have him back as quickly as possible.

I honestly think that being right before the bye is the best time for this type of injury, one 1 game missed and no pressure for the week after

Its a credit to the lad for his form this year that the team will miss him this week......huge loss against the likes of the fab 3 from Geelong.
Yeh life has definitely moved in an unexpected direction when the bloke I thought was first in the delisting gun preseason now has me bemoaning the absence of from the senior side.

Missed his pressure and intensity the last 2 weeks. The 2nd half of the Brisbane game we gave their midfielders tonnes is space.

We did the same with Geelong. anderson’s Pressure stats, tackles, smothers ect prove how much he makes the opposition earn every possession.
He sets the tone and makes others stand a bit taller. The bye is well timed for a few reasons.
