Not sure Jed deserves a game tomorrow based on form, but let's be honest it's been a circus since we sacked our 4 veterans.

So may as well give him a game as I think he will be a big part of our future.

Reminds of the the old joke two cannibals were eating a clown and one said, does he taste funny to you? Anywho I think the circus left town with the Arden St four being found guilty of their respective careers being over. It was the right decision.

I still think he'll be a gun. Watch him bloom next year.

I hope he and clark get a go tomorrow in finals footy. Fast track the development and provide some focus over the offseason.
I don't mean to be hard on him, but im frustrated that he was gifted a game and continues to be given games without merit.
People that say he's going to be a gun? He hasn't shown any signs that he's got any capabilities he's going to be good at this level let alone a "gun"

He is basically a first year player. Do you write off other first year players as quickly as you have done here?

He's not a first year player? He's been in the system for 4 years!
I also said that he hasn't shown any signs of being good let alone a "gun".
If he was in the reserves developing his game, I would have no issue about it. The fact people are saying he's going to be a "gun". There's absolutely zero proof of that.

He is a tackling machine and hard at the body and fast, which is exactly what we need from him especially in a final. If he can add a couple of goals and have manic pressure on the ball carrier I will be pleased.

This kid is underdone, played 19 games and out of position.

His skills and composure have been very concerning. Hopefully he has a good run of injuries, gets fit, gets a good run of it in the middle and we see a different player with confidence.

Good luck tonight Jed.

Are we talking about the same player here?
He averages 3 tackles a game! Has he run down anyone with his fast pace from behind?
He's kicked 1 goal in 10 games for a half Forward this year.

Yes we are.
He hasn't been in form, but he bases his game on speed and tackling and hitting the man hard from all reports from Hawks mates. What I'm saying is hopefully we see a different Jed tonight because his strengths hold up in finals. Let's hope he's kicked 4 goals in 11 games.

I know he isn't but my point is he hasn't played a full season yet in any of those 4 years because he has been injured. He was in a coma and had serious injuries. The proof was in his VFL form last year.

His he tackling machine pls, who you watching his shown nothing absolutely nothing, his skill level is not afl standard at the moment his being gifted games, 1 goal in 10 weeks is a putrid return,on that output he wouldn't get a game at Brisbane

Well he shouldn't have been recruited if he's injury prone and his VFL form last year was ok. It wasn't anything special where we had to throw the kitchen sink to recruit him.

I do like your optimism. I really hope I'm wrong and your right!

Right, kitchen sink... Didn't know we traded our best player and two 1st round picks for him. It was pick 15 and 55 for Jed, 38 and 40. Chill out a bit.
