Title should be 7/20, my mistake. Anyway, continue:

Looks like the dockers are going to make a mockery out of my 2007 ladder prediction. As with a lot of others, I mistakenly fell for all of the hype that this year was going to be the year they finally got it all together and really challenged for the flag.

Looking back over the past few years you can only lose 7-8 games in the season to finish top 4 and have a realistic chance of making the GF. Todays loss means the dockers can only afford to lose 5-6 more H&A games.

To me it looks as though 5th or 6th is the best they will be able to manage.

If this is the case, will Connolly be at the helm next year??

How long is their "premiership window" going to be open for?? I think it closes next year, but I'm going to stop trying to figure the dockers out. They are my bogie team. :(

yeah knowing the Dockers they will play their grand final next week. Too bad they cant seem to get motivated for the other 20 rounds of the season :p

Their next 4 games are:
West Coast
Melbourne at MCG
Adelaide at Subi
Brisbane in Brisbane.

After losing 2 games that they were favourites to win, makes you wonder about the next month they have ahead.

I had them down for finishing 10th-7th since the off season. They just hit some red-hot form last year and only beat a tired Melbourne side that was only ever making up numbers on their home turf. Both times when it mattered against decent teams in the finals they got done.
