Watching Chapman's highlights in last game for the Cats V Port in the EF, just loved his banana kick from a set shot on the first goal, run in and sidesteps on the second goal and the footy smarts to be the only one to run Kornes down and jump on him on the advantage to ping him for holding the ball inside 50 on the third goal.

Love the one where he was running to an open goal,spins around and snaps a goal.

Well done Geelong. I mean it, they did some charitable trades at the end to get their players to their desired destinations.

Love to hear the press if it was us though, Chappy trade took how long? What where they holding out for? They were never going to get anything else... Why didn't they get these trades done earlier so they could use the pick on something else? Wasted everyone's time...

Welcome Chappy, one of my favourite non Bomber players, can see a lot of supporters shaving their head in support of Chappy next year haha!!

Throw him in the #12 jumper!!!
 
That's just great. Now we're going to lose to the Dons 11 times in a row now. :mad::p

Seriously though, it's a great pick up by the Bombers. Despite Chappy being 31 he's still has a couple of year's of good footy left in him. While his best might be behind him, he's still more then capable of dominating games and is a proven match winner. He will be a valuable addition on the Essendon half forward line/midfield.

So us picking up Chappy now instead of the DFA period does that mean maybe we have our sights on another DFA?? Or just wanted to get the trade done & out of the way??

Ps I think it's funny that Chappy was the best out of all 3 (Chappy, Pods & Hunt) & we got him for the cheapest! All be it they where all late pics but still we came out best! Winning.... Hahahahaha
