Dogs 40 down I believe in 99 vs crows and won

Maybe 38 points saints vs Swans 1994

Roos vs swans 2003 perhaps can't remember the margin

The Essendon v Melbourne come from behind I believe Melbourne kicked the first goal of the last quarter to make it 47 points early in the last.

I was at the 1992 Anzac Day game. Melbourne kicked the first goal of the final term to extend the margin to 47 points, which was, at the time, the biggest a team has trailed DURING the last quarter to win.

I think St.Kilda trailed Sydney by 48 points in 1994 early in the last quarter to beat it, in the match where Plugger cleaned up Peter Caven.

Pretty sure Saints trailed by 51 at about 8 minute mark of last.

I know, this is Just short of 3qt (24 min mark 3rd quarter) in 2008, Port Adelaide led Brisbane by 47 pts. Lost by 20. In the rain.

Not AFL, but I remember Glenelg coming back from 53 points down to beat Sturt in the 1986 Escort Cup. It's on YouTube.
About a second after Jim West kicked that goal I punched my Glenelg supporting brother in a pre-emptive strike against any gloating.

Interesting how Melbourne (2025) and Hawthorn's (1995) losses happened 4 years after they won the flag.
