Not going to entertain any bad faith arguments.
Yet you replied again.

The notion that Adams was brought in as a cheap replacement while we tried to phase Parker out is not a controversial one, no matter how condescending you want to be.

Nothing bad faith about it.

My take on the Adams in, Parker out is that the club didn't anticipate the rise of Heeney the mid which then made one of Adams or Parker superfluous to requirements. Given we had just signed Adams to a 3 year deal and Parker was coming to the end of his contract, sadly we had to let LP go. As well, I think LP wanted a 3 year deal which we seemed unwilling to entertain. Im sure salary cap management would've been a factor too.

So indirectly, I think Adams signing did have a part to play in us letting LP go but like most things, there were other forces at play.

Parker would have taken up a lot more cap space than Adams for sure

Isn’t Parker playing as half back flanker at North these days. Seems like his days in the midfield were numbered irrespective of the club he plays for and by being pushed out he got a longer deal at North. So win win for all concerned.
According to an article Parker trained with the mids all pre-season and was moved back quite late and so far it is working. I am curious to see how he matches up on Rosas or Papley. Would be fun to watch him vs Heeney 1 on 1 in the goal square
