3 way multi position swaps?

I have the following situation with my team:

McKernan listed as defender (multi position forward)
Goddard listed as midfielder (multi position defender)
Krakouer listed as forward (multi position midfielder)

I'd like to be able to have Krakouer on the bench for my midfield this week (and thus put McKernan forward and Goddard back) but it doesn't appear I can easily swap them as you appear to only be able to do straight swaps. Am I right or is there a sneaky way to get it done?

Get a FWD/MID MPP in your mids and swap him with Krak. Easy done.

Yeah I should have done that from the start probably but have already got bigger plans for my two trades.
