This is the most interesting piece of 2018. Does he play KP or will he presumably play 2nd/3rd tall in which our VFL side already has an abundance in?

Gut feel says the latter but where will that leave our VFL key defensive stocks? Mitch Brown looks much better in defence than fwd, James Ferry is a SoO player as a defender, Aaron Francis seems best suited to a 3rd defender role also.

Really interesting proposition though, one that will need to be carefully managed i would imagine but one who may come on quicker than we all would imagine. After all, he is essentially a 19 y.o who played against (reserves) men this year and a taste of it against the best at SANFL level.

Genuinely excited to see what he brings to the table. All the best BZT.

BZT, Brown and Francis will be the 3 key posts, Ferry will go where he's told because he's not on the list and Ridley will play off a back flank and spend some time forward and midfield methinks.

Brown can always roll forward, I think he's better there anyway.

They usually rotate young key defenders in the VFL - Sometimes he'll get the second or third best tall forward,occasionally he'll get the best tall forward - Someone like Ferry is the bedrock of our defence as he can play on any tall forward, to relieve pressure on our younger defenders.
