If a best case scenario of our next 2 gun key forwards coming from within our current list eventuates, it’d really allow us to keep using the draft to build out our talent on all lines.

Unless they’re absolute prodigies talls tend to be the highest potential busts amongst early picks because they’re so hard to project. Sidestepping that risk and continuing to draft for other positions while we’re in the top 10 pick zone would be a bonus.

When we’re taking our first pick at circa 20 we can start speculating on the next Tarrants and Scott Thompsons.

Key positions players are harder to come by but they normally don't tend to be too bad. For instance, richard tambling a prime example of major drafting * up. David Hale on the other hand is as bad a established ruckman can get, he was quite servicable and even won 3 flags.

Comben, a perfect replacement for Brown, atheletic, highly skilled key forward and CHF, just need to be strengthened and conditioned. If he doesn't work out as a forward turn him into a chb like tarrant.
