Senior 30. Charlie Curnow

This is a sign that the club is looking towards 2020 with some confidence on the back of our performances of the last 6 weeks, now believing we have the depth to see out the season reasonably strong while building towards a move up the ladder in 2020.

As we saw against the Bulldogs, Charlie is ready to be an elite forward in the competition & if we can get him into 2020 at peak fitness, it could be the year he becomes a 50-60 goal forward.

Russell wants them all ready for the pre season.

There's really very little point bringing him back for a game or two at the end of the year.
He's done his knee in one way or another how many times now? Is it 3?
Best to let him get better and allow him time to not have to worry about his knee when pre-season commences.

Fitness, new coach, a possible new game-plan. Sounds good to me.

Not enough love for Charlie at the moment. Having an extraordinary start to the season, particularly on the back of the best part of 2 years sitting on the sidelines.

Yeah it's only the Crows but a 6 goal haul as well as two 5 goal bags already in 2022....he's a very special talent is Charlie.

Oh how much we missed him over the past few years...

Did I hear he got 10 votes from the coaches?

Charlie is in 11th place in the coaches votes - tied with Max Gawn who is in All Australian form - and behind 10 midfielders. Incredible season so far - especially after a very ordinary round 1 game.

How much have we missed him over the past 2 years. Sometimes you forget how good they are . Bloody star - he and Crippa.

2nd in the Coleman medal after so long out.

Averaging over 3 goals a game. Incredible.

Makes us so dangerous with his partnership with McKay...if he was still injured I reckon we'd be 4-4 at best.
