Voss as Gandalf, Weitering as Elrond, Jones as Boromir (gone)? I can dig that.
Merry and Pippin can be played by Setterfield and Dow. Not quite in the A-team but in a fumbly, support cast role.

His goal sense and the quickness in which he's able to kick impress me so much. His ability to get the ball to foot in a split second is ridiculous and it's almost always on target. Along with Fish he probably has the quickest foot to boot in the team. But he's dropping the ball from a higher point than Fish so it's more impressive

To have that natural sense still after a long layoff is great.

Just listened to that video on the OP, interesting to hear him say he dislocated his knee cap before being drafted.

Anyone know if it was the same knee?

I've never heard that one.

We traded pick 20 & 21 to the Bulldogs for pick 11, hoping GWS would take that for Tomlinson.

Apparently it got so close that Carlton had set up its banners late on the last day of trade as we were preparing to hold a press conference to announce the trade.

The trade didn't make it and we kept pick 11.

That ended up being used to draft Charlie.

Although apparently we wanted Charlie more than Harry. But we picked Harry first so Adelaide didn't pinch him between our two picks.

Essentially not getting Tomlinson got us one of Harry/Charlie. Real sliding doors moment. And I sure as hell prefer the door we ended up with...

It's natural forward instinct. You see it in soccer too. The forward knows where the goals are at any point in time no matter where they are and can make something happen where others can't. Technical skills also have nothing to do with it. It's not a skill you can teach. You either have it or you don't.

100 up for King Charlie this weekend against the Dockers.

Great achievement, given the injury issues. What a comeback it has been.

Looking forward to him putting on a show!

To think there were genuine questions as to whether he could get back to his best.

Medical science and good old guts and determination are an amazing trio.

Congrats Charlie. Here's to the next 100.
