I reckon Ison is going to be a player opposition clubs and their supporters don’t like, and I love that.

Shooshed the Tassie crowd a couple of weeks ago. Want him to shoosh 50000 filth supporters when we go again.

swag in spades. We must nurture the extroversion, not nullify it. I recall CD mentioning in an interview recently that they’re looking for some extroversion so they’ve got one here!

If anything this is later than this stuff tends to get announced. Players would have known the team hours before the announcement.

My junior footy contacts advised me JI has some real mongrel I him. This has hasn’t really been talked about and he has generally looked a laconic smooth mover in the videos of him.

Look forward to seeing that play Out next season

I expect a few moment where people just go WOW. He will likely play forward but I expect him to be a mid in 2027

My hope is that the senior team have confidence in him as a receiving target.

I think he'll have no problems hunting his own ball, breaking and laying tackles and breaking packs.

So I'd really love so see him sought has a target that won't be burned, i.e. so it isn't a situation where he makes a decent lead (which he can and has been doing) and is totally ignored for a long bomb into a pack. I think that would give him amazing confidence.

Commentator was on fire that game, I also liked, describing an attacking horde of players running into the 50 'a few Blues loose in the top paddock'.
