The thread title makes him sound like someone's great uncle.

Arthroscopy on his hip.

Hope the old codger doesn't have a fall, he'll be stuffed for bingo night, let alone the shopping tour to Chaddy.

So, do you think he can play with a runner?
Looking at the photo, Brad's cunning plan is to tie their legs together like in a 3-legged race. That other bloke will tow him around to all the contests. The umpires won't notice. They'll be unsighted.

I think the plan's got a good chance of working.

Comes down to this in my opinion.......

2016 With Waite = 14 Games 11 Win & 3 losses
2016 With No Waite = 10 Games 2 Wins & 8 losses

Simple is he must play for us to have a chance of a massive upset.

With current side we will just get the same result. High risk = high reward.

I like Waite but I'd have let him go in the great tail wags the dog cull of '16. Boomer overall (yes I recognise they play different roles) would've been a better retention for 2017.

Bump the shizen out of this if Waite has a stellar 2017 but even so I'm not sure why we need him if we're supposedly clearing spots for the kids to flourish. Waite plays and any of Daw (if he stays), Wood, McKay, Durdin have to miss out.

Be realistic KC. McKay couldn't run out a quarter in the 2s, he's a mile off being able to play AFL. And Durdin has had one season of footy in VFL. He's not up for it either. In that case, we should keep Waite.

I have a sneaky feeling that young McKay will surprise a few next year and be a bit of a bolter..something about this kid, he just has it...
