Looks like Maj gets a gig as a full time forward. Pruess can stay in until Wood is ready.

Reckon Maj is needing to find touch but yeah will probably come in. I thought at some stage Waite would get injured........ wasn't thinking rd 1.

Seriously, let's just go ******* full weird units.

OUT: Waite, Preuss, Thomas
IN: Larkey, Daw, McKay

Play a forward line of

HF: Simpkin - Brown - Ziebell
FF: Larkey - Daw - McKay

Try and outmark us down there, Geelong. You ******* ****s.
LOL. They wont need to. We will spoil each other and the ball will hit the deck and out it goes again.

North Melbourne can today confirm Jarrad Waite will undergo shoulder surgery and is expected to be sidelined for about a month.

North GM Football Cameron Joyce told NMFC.com.auWaite injured his acromioclavicular (A/C) joint in yesterday’s loss to West Coast at Etihad Stadium.

“Unfortunately Jarrad had scans this morning and they have shown that he will require surgery on his left shoulder this week,” Joyce said.

“We anticipate that he will be out for about four to six weeks. We’re hopeful to have him available for selection sooner rather than later.”

Joyce said Waite’s absence from the Roos’ forward line provided yet another opportunity for a younger player to step up.

“While we are obviously disappointed to see Jarrad sidelined, we had a number of really strong performances from our forwards in Werribee’s VFL practice match on Saturday afternoon,” Joyce added.

“There are plenty of players ready to come in and make that position their own.”
So we should see Waite back in 12 weeks. :stern look

I wanna see garner too - but i also want to see him play more than 3 games in a row, so i think being cautious is the way to go.
true - seeing waitey get injured sucks but we know he is 34 and likely in his last year so you can cop it but if Garner came in underdone and got a hammy or something it would be heart breaking
