This might not even be a bad thing couple of things can happen from this.

Our forwards won't get in the way of each other play brown and pruess as forwards tell them to each lead away from goals and make daw stay in the square that way he can't over run the drop of the ball.

Other is durdin can come in and see he's craft as a forward if he looks shit drop him back this week the cats will go tall I believe they will have Stanley and smith in there so daw and keeping pruess there won't be bad I wouldn't want durdin lining up on Hawkins or hendo.

Time to play McKay and forget about Waite.

How many games will he miss in his last 2 seasons? Im going to guess 20 by the end of this season...

Don't see this as a major loss in a rebuilding year. Wood will be back in a few weeks. Daw can fill in. Play Pruess.

Bring in McKay or Durdin or go small - bringing in Clarke or Garner.

Ship Waite out the door next year please...

Has the Wet Toast player (Brown I think) who did this been cited ala Cunners? Happened when he was hit front on, you could see him stretching out as soon as it happened.

If not I can see their excuse....there was no blood so obviously this isn't a serious injury...low impact.

Agree, for mine this season is about blooding without totally throwing the kids to the wolves. To play a full youngster line up against AFL hardened, fresh from preseason players and expect them to last the season out would be foolish. 6 weeks is the perfect opportunity for McKay to get a good taste, then put him on ice (unless blitzing) for another 6 week stint late in the year.

Cant have Goldie, Maj and the Mountain - its 2 of the 3 at best depending on form, injury and setup.

Should of kept Petrie over Waite. Much more durable, better leadership skills and chases his arse off when it comes to forward pressure.

Total **** up by the club...

Wrong - although we probably could have ditched both.

Petrie's ability has diminished. Waite still has it, keeps getting cut down by injury.

Play 2KPF and two Rucks or even one ruck is fine if Preuss gets dropped, Maj and Brown is enough until we get Wood back.

Yeah it's a shame Waite is our most experienced forward but is anyone really surprised at his age with his injury issues.
