Get off Waite! He's a genuine star, unlucky, he scored 107 SC and kicked 1.7! He's obviously in our best 22, round one jutters, he's usually the most reliable kick for goal in our side! Take it easy you lot! Without waite we are no chance to make the 8, with Waite we are

Thanks for the service Waitey. Your start to 2016 was electric, just couldn't stay on the park.

Basically produced exactly what he did for Carlton. Big bags against shit teams, missing in big games and out injured half the time.

The only thing he didn't do was belt someone.

Kicked 4 against Richmond to get us over the line.
Got us over the 'go braves' last year in Round 6. Probably his best game for us kicking them from 50 out. Took some unbelievable grabs that got all North supporters on their feet. Beveridge reactions were priceless.
There are more matches that he has impacted which we have benefited greatly from that I have not mentioned. Seriously go have a look.

I had my doubts about Waite but credit where credit is due, he delivered when it really mattered.

Should of kept Petrie over Waite. Much more durable, better leadership skills and chases his arse off when it comes to forward pressure.

Total **** up by the club...

Hindsight is a wonderful thing......selection was made on form and last year Waite was miles in front.

Yeah that game was unbelievable. Waite against the Dogs in the same year was pretty good as well. He has had some good periods at North but sometimes he can try to do things that just makes coaches and supporters lose their minds. Scrubby kicks off his non-preferred foot and the turnovers (not alone) while kicking dangerously towards the middle. The little things that he knows he can overcome somehow come back to haunt him again.

He can do some damage this year but with the AC joint injury, I'm really concerned he might limit himself in the contests making his impacts less effective. Playing after surgery can really mess with the player's mentality going forward. The player does not want the same injury or a different injury to occur again.

If he doesn't return to his best, it's probably because of injury. Which could mean that the younger players will have to play without Waite if he is not 100%. But knowing Brad Scott...

Play 2KPF and two Rucks or even one ruck is fine if Preuss gets dropped, Maj and Brown is enough until we get Wood back.

Yeah it's a shame Waite is our most experienced forward but is anyone really surprised at his age with his injury issues.
Isn't this like Higgin's injury last year? That is, a collison injury that isn't about being 'injury prone' or due to his age?

Don't know why some are getting defensive about Waite he is 34 he is in his last year.
Yes he had an impact injury true but the chances injuring some part of his body again are high even when he comes back from this one.
Wood, Brown, Maj and a few young guys are the future so i coudn't care less if Waite played the rest of the year in the two's tbh.

Yeah, saw that other post after I posted, sorry.

In answer to this post, because, despite his age, when fit, he's our most dangerous forward?
