Look, none of us know her. We do know she's a young woman raising a young family away from home and family, and she's planning a wedding (ask the ladies in your life about that).

Think it's been easy being one if our players for the last 2 years? It's not just them, their partners and families live it too, the constant media storm and uncertainty.

Now her partners future and her role in it is being discussed ad nauseum in public and in the media.

As EFC supporters I'd prefer we left the private lives and matters of our players to them, leave the uninformed opinion to the campaigners in the media and elsewhere on sites like this.
Yeah i was a bit out of line there im sure the club can work some sort of arrangement to keep his missus happy.

I think the comments about Ryder's partner are unneeded. She's not a footballer and she doesn't have to give a flying proverbial about Essendon, another club or about football full stop.

She's a young mother and if she wants to move to be closer to family, you can't begrudge her that.
I take it back.

All good man I just happened to pick on your posts as I saw them, there's been a bit of it floating around that's all.

Young mother under a lot of pressure, we don't know situations, the speculation etc is for gutter crawlers like Caro, we can all leave the shite about the club's "trouble with Ryder and his partner" to her ilk.

Maybe she should give a slight proverbial about Essendon as they are giving her family a pretty well paid lifestyle!!!

**** you Connors.

Good to see the Club have said that Connors the cock has put strain on Ryders family

That's as strong as it gets
Makes be think that Paddy aint too happy about his manager's tactic. Surely wont make a public statement because a few extra bucks would be nice to stop the princess from whining for redneckland. I'd guess that Paddy would have liked a quiet word with the club for an extra 100k or two at the end of the season.

Without sounding like p****** in your pockets, I reckon the Bombers have done a remarkable job, just making the finals this year. It's not easy to focus on the footy action on field, when you have these off field issues/saga always being discussed in the media. The playing & coaching group have been so united this year. You just want all of this bull**** to end! I know this from experience, being a lifelong Fitzroy supporter. I hated reading the paper or listening to the radio in the end. No doubt, I'd love to have Ryder at Brisbane, but I honestly cannot see it happening. I think he'll stay a Bomber. Maybe his wife might have to move to Qld on her own??? Patrick can go up & visit every 2/3 weeks for the next couple of years?

Anyone who boos Ryder at the game is a weak and gutless person in my opinion.
How can anyone in their right mind boo him? There is nothing concrete saying he will leave.

And we should be cheering him trying to convince him to stay.

The statement doesn't really fill me with a lot of confidence tbh if i were an essendon supporter. I would have preferred to hear this type of message a lot earlier to focus on ur finals match. I hope he stays but i have a feeling he maybe more closer to leaving than staying

And what gives you that 'feeling'?
