You might want to talk to an employment lawyer before making bold statements like that. A breach of duty of care by either party in an employment contract is grounds for teh other party to terminate. The clause was added by the AFL not because they wanted to but because they had to legally, fail to put it in andin the event a player challenge and won the whole AFL collective bargaining agreement would be deemed illegal, which means that everything the AFL does with players collapse and we have a free for all.
