From a Richmond supporters perspective, you can go far worse than giving Menadue another chance. Has serious pace, 188cm, an excellent kick, pretty composed, and a more seasoned body than when he played early at Richmond. He played pretty good football at times and was unlucky being dropped an many occasions. Being slight he is not a body player but in that respect he has improved also.

Seems he's been assessed as better back-up than Majak and Jasper. Although I assume cost differential has played a big part in that decision.

It's a bit unusual but he's experienced and its not a bad idea to bring someone in from a club that's recently had success at both AFL and VFL level. Can impart wisdom onto the young guys and coaches about how they achieved success.
