Wasn't fitness one of the other knocks? Covered a lot of ground last night too.

His 'attitude' and consistency in games was the other.

I think getting slighted at the draft was the best thing to rectify any attitude and commitment issues. Has probably done him wonders as from all reports he's one of the first ones to the club and an absolute sponge.

I don't think consistency is an issue. If anything I think he's finding the ball easier at AFL level than he did at NAB League level.

His endurance base has developed, he was 3rd on the ground for KM's covered on the weekend.

He has a good set of shoulders on him, I seriously think he's going to become one of the better forward/mids in the league in the next few years.

You can see him demanding the ball ALL THE TIME, even little 15m inside kicks etc. He just wants the ball. Not all players have this or want it funnily enough (Mason Wood as an example doesn't demand the ball alot). When you combine that thirst for the ball with his skill set, he's going to be a beast.

I can seriously see him becoming close to our best player in the next decade.

Could possibly be our best player in 5 years.

Is doing this as a string bean.

Fair chance he gets the Rising Star nom.

Highest ranked RS eligible player by CD for the round.

Probably he or Max King.

Given the contested marks he took, I think Curtis may get the nod.
