so from the injury list its got mahony listed as test, yet brady has just said they wont be risking him and wait till next week lol. Also Brady says 4 games left, we have 3!

Nah he's right. We have 4 games left, just one is a bye, though I suspect in a Practice match if they have one, the walking wounded will beat the fit blokes in a canter.

How do you know this?

I get the questioning of the management of our players (especially with the Cunnington and Ziebell decisions) but I'm not getting this one if I'm being honest.

You must be joking. The treatment is rest and then rehab. We did the opposite by sending him back on the field. We placed him back on tge field to apply furher stress to the area.

The idea behind current tx is to allow recovery in the area and then build strength and resilience in that area. This is not neurosurgery this is basic medical science.

They may or may not have exacerbated the injury, but the risk of exacerbation was certainly there. Even if the risk was to the opposite leg due to overcompensation.

Il back the club in normally but we made some bad mistakes this year. People under pressure often do make more mistakes.

As long as lessons are learnt by the medicos who ok’d the return to field.

West Coast had Schuey come off with a slight hammy in their last game and he returned to the field later on only to strain his other hammy as well. They said on the wireless yesterday “yeah, we stuffed up and we’ll learn our lesson there.”

Rapt for Curtis too. Thank God we have one of the future potential guns locked and loaded.

Please feel free to reveal your credentials. I'm happy to listen if you've got expertise in the area.

Lol. 10 years reviewing medical documents and determining the severity of conditions against Policy and Occupational requirements. I interact with doctors of all specialisms and work directly with rehab specialists. But my point is, you don’t need medical credentials, compare the tx plan with the choice they made on the night.

The issue here is, you don’t want to accept a difficult truth.

Gotta love Curtis' instragram post....

"Pumped to be signed on for another 2 years. Bloody love this club"

Good lad.

He's one of ours.

Micky McGuane loves the kid.

Tef is McGuane not interested in being in the AFL system?

Has always seemed very smart and honest but probably lacks the lickspittling to be part of the machine.

Mick is not suited to the ridiculous pompous, puritanical bullshit that comes with the gig.

He's a normal human being.

It's a pity he presents as an astute guy.

But Leading Teams, Wellness Surveys and making prosaic statements isn't for everyone.

A brilliant organic football mind.

He doesn't need to look at stats sheets, he sees and understands football.
