A few of you, includes The Zebs, will be relieved to know that after rigorous off season analysis, I feel David Hale is in a great position to capitalise on a more direct game plan this season up forward.

I am officially on the David Hale bandwagon, I reckon he will deliver for our club this year.
with any luck, he'll deliver us a nice juicy first rounder from the GC:thumbsu:

Firstly HE must fire or GC Next stop for him!
Perhsps confidence big problem proved against Cats
can deliver if delivery is good!
Surely better supply this year-therefore better results!
Invested alot in him we need a payout-perhaps this year!

last year against Essendon is a good example of what he is capable of. Linked up with Ziebell on a few occasions - lead well and had the ball put out infront of him. Generally a pretty steady kick inside fifty.

Yep. If he doesn't have a good year I can totally see the Gold Coast Speedos falling over themselves to offer up a first round pick to snare his services.

In other news, last week I followed a rainbow down to the ground and found a pot of gold just sitting there. Imagine my surprise.

I completely dissagree with you and I think he will be lucky to play 5 games. I think Brad Scott gave him a rocket already at quarter time, because he came out in the second quarter and dived on the ball as if his life depended on it. He is so slow when the ball hits the ground up forward he simply can't compete.

Hale is being let down by terrible delivery, but I am sensing a huge second half.

Yeah, I agree. It's not as if the ball was following him around, and he did exert an influence on the contest when the ball came in his direction.
So he bloody should. He is 6ft 8 and 100kgs. We shouldn't even be surprised when we see that. It should just be the norm like Warren and Petrie. He is a plodding backup ruckman at best, because he just simply doesn't have the legs to be able to compete at the level. If Hamish or Goldy get injured then he could be handy to have as a readymade backup. People are dreaming if they think he is going to have an impact this year.
