Feeling like Mr. Optimism here (or maybe MR CC & cola...)

BUT I'm thinking maybe David could pull a Dougy Bollinger and just go right off.

Pencil me in for 56 Goals. And a wild card entry into the tag team championship match at Summerslam with MVP and Hornswaggle.
If the Daves pulling a Bollinger, we're definitely popping the corks on a good year Boozer.:thumbsu:

I reckon Hale was good today. Crashed the packs and snared a couple of goals in terrible conditions for the tall and immobile.

We should persist with him, and I reckon his performance today in terrible conditions would have Josh Smiths on notice.

Had he kicked that goal we'd be on here saying he had a very good game. As it was, he was certainly in our better players. Did stuff. Had a dip.

What is galringly obvious - such as when Hmac was up there - is he needs another big bloke alongside.

Yep. And he played a much smarter game than he has in a while today big Dave. Knew to take the big bodies out of the corridor for Hamish and used our crumbers well.

Will work well with Petrie, not sure Smith or Edwards are the answer until then though.

Yeah Nah Hales had a very ordinary first half like many of his teammates however he played a reasonable 2nd Half. Should have kicked that goal however. :stern look

Yeah, he should have. The side step was nice, but it was an easy shot.

Not sure what Frawley was on abou saying he should have handballed to Harvey who had Surjan right on his hammer. Would have been a terrible decision.

Wasn't much Hale could do in the first half with only ten inside 50s.

How was he supposed to get a kick in the first half?
Hey one kick in a half is one kick. I hear ye yah. We struggled to get the ball inside 50 but say if Petrie played do yah think he only would've had one kick for the half?

Look Hales kicked 2. 1. from very limited chances. He only had 4 kicks for the match and this is why some are already calling for his head.

But it has to be said that conditions were bad and he did play a part in the second half even though he didn't touch the ball a hell of a lot.

Looking forward in seeing Hales match up against Dawsons in our next match against Thaint Kilda. Shirley will take this clown to the cleaners next week. :stern look

Thank god for David Hale - one of the few players to extract the digit tonight. If it wasn't for the big man we would have suffered our LOWEST EVER SCORE in our VFL/AFL history.

Battled hard.

He honestly seemed to have 4 blokes around him every time such was the slow movement. He spends to much time trying body on body shit, but what are his options when we play like that?

Forwards don't seem to help him at all - lead away and get him one out FFS!

Petrie back in the team and some quick movement and he could easily kick 60+.

spot on Z, Needs to get on the bike, the ball should never be kicked on the top of his hairy head. Make him run and use the 3 feet arms he has.
