I was delighted to hear we had convinced Tom to come to Sydney. His stats for 2019 filling in for NicNat were highly acceptable, he had a rep as working well with youngsters, the move seemed to work for his family. His preseason seemed to go well, he has settled into the team brilliantly and most importantly HE HAS DELIVERED.
As long as he stays healthy I can't see him losing the first ruck spot. He at least halves the ruck and offers a lot around the ground. Neither Cal nor Sam can match him.
He has only played 100 games and looks like he could go a while yet.

From my readings of his career thus far, it didn't appear to me that he was the numpty many on here claimed he was. Perhaps now, with the Swans, he's found his niche and the performances have followed.
I reckon I'd be happier for him to get AA then just about anyone else in the comp.
