So, where does he play in 2016?

Is he a third tall, so in competition with Brown/Waite?

Is he a HFF, so in competition with Higgins/Garner/Turner/Anderson?

Is he a wing/mid rotation, so in competition with Dal Santo/Gibson/Macmillan?

Who does he displace out of those groups to force his way into the 22? I can't see him getting too many games unless we are hit with injuries.

Anyone been down to training and can report on how Mason is travelling? He looks to have bulked up by the limited images I've seen but still maintaining his endurance? Seems to have gone under the radar this pre-season amidst all the hoopla of the Jedi and new draftee's arrival. Possible breakout 2016 or once again confined to the fringe???

Haven't been to training but in the clips, he is often front and centre. Just get the feeling that he has some good intent and determination about him. Then again he might just enjoy being in front of the camera.

Could be a surprise packet this year.

Would it be beyond the realms of possibility to play him as a tall wingman or HFF. Rotating through the middle. Not sure on his ball winning ability in tight but the Garner type prototype? Similarly would like to see black play on a wing with his athleticism in the type of role you see Reiwoldt and back in last year or 2 Richo. May not be fast enough though

If he can clean up the soft shit he keeps serving up, reckon can be a very handy player and looks in excellent condition.

A hard running, tall wingman to push forward and hit the scoreboard would be his best fit for mine.

This is exactly how I think we will play him. If you can be bothered I'm pretty sure I've posted similar in the thread. Having said that, I agree with the big easy, kid needs to HTFU. Like Denis used to say, no point looking like Tarzan if you play like Jane. He ticks every other box though.

Bang on. Shirked some contents and put in some soft efforts.

Other than that he's showed great skill with the ball in hand and good goal sense.

Could be a real weapon with his endurance.

Winger. As saintly said needs to clean up the soft shit though. Half the playing list shirk like he does on occasion and the board would be tearing shreds off them.

Has the skill. Has the size. Appears to have the Desire. Now just needs some fine tuning

Would you say the wood needs polishing?
