Thought Curnow was excellent and his best game so far, created 4-5 goals with his strong contests and amazing pass to Rosas.

He should have kicked 4 himself, but had the yips, it happens to the best from time to time.

Amartey and Curnow both had nightmares from set shots, but both solidly contributed to the win which is all you want.

We made the granny last year and lost again ? “SYDNEY's search for Grand Final redemption has continued in fine form after last year's runner up defeated Gold Coast 14.16 (100) to 9.14 (68) at Norwood Oval on Saturday”

This was a great win. For some unknown reason out tall forwards couldn't handle the conditions. Maybe someone needs to kick them up the arse. Maybe they need some really big goal kicking practice on windy days and no excuses for missing.

Pressure, pressure, pressure. This is what it is all about. Without that high speed pressure we don't win this.

Excellent win, defence were superb all game, didn’t give Suns a look in.

Mills showed some courage going back with the flight and took a few hits but also in starting the play from defence with aggressive handballs.

Grundy needs some help though, unsure we can have Logan and Amartey as the back ups v a high quality ruck.

Heeney immense as always, JJ needs to tag every week so diligent and important.

All small forwards exceptional including the defensive ones. We played well as a unit, which is all you can ask and stood up to the test, well done boys!!

4 points was the most important thing at this time of year.

Our general play is really good and some standout performers so far this season putting their hand up. Would be a few in the All Australian team if picked right now(Heeney, McCartin, Grundy, Jmac).

The set shot kicking is the main concern and needs to be addressed. In finals, Curnow and Amartey in particular are gonna need to be able to kick goals under pressure or the mids will have too much on their plate and too much to do.

Mills was really good down back after his early injury, Hamling was very serviceable aswell.

96 tackles and no opposition contested marks says it all. This is why I love these games. Against good opposition on a narrow ground, I wanted to know how we would go in small territory under pressure. It says that we're not just a Plan A team. And for those that knock our key forwards, I say watch the game again stress free. They had 10 scores. Yes, they could have kicked straighter but look at their goal assists. Team first!

yeah ... people have been wondering if we have a plan b ... if plan b is to hassle the sh1t out of one of the most talented teams in the league, all over the field, until you overrun them, it seemed to work

Hammer was great in the one on ones but his kicking was a bit agricultural to say the least.

They said an almost game and I agree, n almost season

He’s had so many ohh yeah if he nails this moments and feels like missed most of them.

He kicks 3-1 and the census would be he had a very good game and was influential.
He kicks 2-2 and you still say he contributed to the result
He missed all of them! and ended up with a big fat 0 KPF are judged on their output so yer this was a bad game.

Rosas
Roberts
TMac
Serong
Bice
Wicksy...

We look a better team this year with these mid tier players stepping up
Agreed. Rosas & Serong have slotted in without missing a beat and the others have been pretty consistent and playing really well.
