he is 25 & earning a couple of hundred k to be out there. Getting rubbed out 80m off the ball in your first game back is deplorable. This is a guy the club have put endless faith in.

I'd be dropping him to the reserves, and keeping him there unless he can get votes for 3 games straight. If he can't do that, i'd be cutting him irrelevant of the year left. And as another mentioned, they person who put their balls on the line to give him that contract....

1) He hasn't developed at all over 6 years
2) He STILL hasn't been coached to not drop his head, and to give a single second effort
3) We signed him on for 3 extra years, 1 year ago

Blair and Co had a lot of credits from our premiership years, but that shit is running dry real fast.

Ryan, Hopper, Gibcus deals are looking awful.

I just needed to see a glimpse, a tiny sliver of positivity from this vertically gifted giraffe.
We need a royal commission into the decision behind resigning this guy for 3 years.
Every year it’s the same shit. Weak as piss as always. Early days you can excuse his light frame but he’s been here for 5 years already. He would get pushed under the ball and he doesn’t provide an option down the line. Still has his head down after losing a contest and is nowhere to be seen after the ruck contest. He’s weak physically and worst of all, weak mentally. No amount of confidence can cure this guy who robbed this club of a list spot.
A bloody baby lamb is stronger than this guy. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. Everyone can see this, i don’t know who see this differently.

CCJ is copping a similar hard time over at North, but at least when he was out there on Friday he looked like he wanted to play well & committed. Ryan is a shitshow.

Its Kosi all over again - just riding pointless years on him knowing he is never going to make it. Just cut him at seasons end - or, do it now & make a statement & use his spot in the mid-season draft to recruit someone who wants to at least try & take their chance

This has been a big big problem. He just stands there flat footed out of position, spectating. At least get to position or man up the oppo ruck to try to nullify.

When he is in position (rare) and receives a quick kick or handball, it's like he is in shock the ball has come to him and he panics/fumbles.

It's like he is mentally zoned out and only expects to do hit outs and the occasional mark if he is expecting it.
