Yes, I'm saying he's a lions academy graduate so they didn't have the option of matching. The players we have bid for from lions academy that weren't matched are Cumberland and Martyn (and Biggie from St Kilda academy). Chol was in the lions academy but was overlooked in the ND and we took him in the rookie draft.

The "three talls and a ruck" game plan worked last week, but I don't know whether it's worth putting young Samson out there weekly this early in his career to satisfy that forward line.

Would prefer us to play Jack, Caddy and the resting Chol/CJJ as our forward line, especially as we head into winter when games become more of a slugfest. That is unless we stay in warm, dry climates for the next month or so...

i reckon colina is about as much chance of playing AFL some time soon as me joining commonwealth Golf clubs pennant team , good on Ryan if he cracks it for a game this early, id like to see Miller incl if we want that tall spot filled
