Very good in the ruck last week. Needs to build some more power and speed into his running to not get run-off of when playing forward or in space. Big game for him this week to cement himself in the 22 and provide hope for the future post a battered Nankervis who is not getting younger.

Their choices are probably the shoulderless flyer 195cm Nick Blakey, the 194cm Lewis Melican, and 193cm Aaron Francis. They would have had to go 18 men in d50 again to stop T-bone Lynch if he was playing.
No Francis. No Gould (yet to debut) both injured.

Perhaps Melican or I'm guessing they will go with Rampe and the Lizard.

I suspect Melican is also infirmed. In fact scrap the suspect, he is, out with an adductor for 1-2 more.

So Jack, Miller/Ryan will likely have 188cm Rampe and the lizard for company.

Both bloody good footballers but susceptible in the air if we get it in quick. Rampe is a good undersized key defender no doubt but there's an advantage there if we can take it.

Would be similar to Vlaustin picking up one of their keys. Would do alright but you’d think would struggle with ball in the air. But they will also lose a lot of their bounce off half back.

Under sized against Ryan could be a big problem for the swans if we can get the ball in Ryan's area

Rampe is listed at 187cm but other places have him at 189cm thats 18cm shorter than Ryan and when you include his reach probably closer to 30 cm
put the ball in front of Ryan and let him take the ball

Still think he goes to Riewoldt

Is Samson gonna be majority ruck or forward tonight?
I’m thinking it will be close to a 50/50 split

But Miller to take more of the stoppages leaving Ryan to be a spare forward and maybe Balta take a few hitouts when deep in our d50

To be honest im looking forward to ryan/miller combintaiton rather than seeing same old nank plodding around
Nank has got coaches votes every game this year until he got injured last week. So far off the mark you’re embarrassing yourself…

Na not my type.

I reckon, down the track, S Ryan can become quite good.

How he goes for stats now in a full game difficult to predict.

I know what you say but he can take a mark, has speed.

weather make a difference. Time in the ruck could help. I think he is ruck/forward rather than forward

What else can we do? We don't have a single other genuine key postion forward on the list.

Liam McBean would be turning in his grave. Would be a walk up start every week right now
