Much better off to leave Jacob in the VFL to get injured there
He was directly involved in a couple of goals with some blocking and contesting , give the kid a break , might surpriseReally he was hugely important to our win last night. Managed to halve a stack of contests and no one else in the forward line was doing that
Some days he’ll cash in with a couple of goals and other games he won’t but no one can question the effort in the last few games
He's been in the system for 4 years? I hope he comes good but as of now he's a horrible footballer.Outside of that, he at least competed, brought the ball to ground and made a contest.
Yeah, that was my take too Hank. There were times when he looked totally out of his depth, but he won a few nice ruck duals through good bodywork and brought the ball to ground in numerous forward line contests. That is a very highly regarded achievement nowadays when intercept marks are so critical to setting up score involvements.Look, he wasn't outstanding, but he wasn't awful.
He only really got outmarked once, and that was a 2v1, but it was a really poor effort none the less.

Theres enough there (and nothing below) to suggest we at least persist with him for now.
