Ryan stepping into No.1 must be a plan./
5 on the bench 2026 will see RFC have a low TOG ruck for sure.
perfect role for Ryan
With the 5 on bench & less ruck contests from reduced throw-ins could coaches switch emphasis to more athletic types who can hurt teams around the ground. Could a CDT become the prototype?
No bounce but what other ruck rule changes are there?
Pretty sure it’s only in the middle section of the groundI thought the AFL were going with the last touch out of bounds, opposition get a kick in instead of throw in? Thought it had been trialled at other levels?

In either f50 it’s still a ruck contest unless deemed deliberate
Problem with Ryan is he is a big sook. When beaten he drops his head, complains to umpires and doesn’t focus on getting back in the contest. Soft as butter.I pray this guy can come on. He's an awkward frame and size so perhaps he will finally fill out his frame and become a hulking monster? He has the mongrel. He has the marking. He even has the tap work and set shot accuracy. What has always kept him back is his strength - he just gets pushed around far too easily.
If Ryan can build his core, particularly his legs, to enable him to compete in ruck battles and marking contests, he could be exactly what we need but how long are we going to have to wait for the penny to drop, for him to get on the protein powder and become a power lifter?
I still do have hope but its dwindling by the minute
It is last Possession (kick or handball) between the 50m arcs, not last touch, so there will still be boundary throw ins. It will be the same as the AFLW.I thought the AFL were going with the last touch out of bounds, opposition get a kick in instead of throw in? Thought it had been trialled at other levels?
Fantastic, just what we need another common sense interruption and we all know how the last one went.Pretty sure it’s only in the middle section of the ground

Bravo, the scores will be 0-3 at halftime. It is last Possession (kick or handball) between the 50m arcs, not last touch, so there will still be boundary throw ins. It will be the same as the AFLW.
