Is his kicking something that is broken ala Clarke or is it something that can be refined?
Welcome to Essendon Brayden Ham!
STRENGTHS: Speed, agility, endurance, vertical leap, high impact per possession, versatility
IMPROVEMENTS: Inside game, kicking consistency
SUMMARY: If there is a TAC Cup player flying under the radar heading into November, then Brayden Ham would have to be a candidate for that role. He finished second in the Geelong Falcons’ Best and Fairest behind Sam Walsh, and has some incredible eye-catching traits. He did predominantly play outside and his kicking can be inconsistent at times, but his athleticism across the board – speed, agility, endurance and vertical leap – would be close to the best in the draft crop. Furthermore, Ham has that ability to influence a contest without having to rack up huge numbers. He played in multiple areas and seemed to have the biggest impact playing at half-forward, but was also tasked with the kick-out duties as well.
More that he tries to much at times, technique is fine.Is his kicking something that is broken ala Clarke or is it something that can be refined?
Sounds like a hell of a lot of positives for someone taken so late. Do you think disposal is what caused him to go so late?
Maybe recruiters think he has very limited upside?Runner-up in club B & F behind Walsh and we got him at 72. This could be bit of a steal here
He's 19 and still looks more underdeveloped than Walsh does, and he played 4 more TAC cup games. Lets not go gaga yet.Maybe recruiters think he has very limited upside?
Plenty of well performed younger guys miss out because they’re pretty much the finished product already.
Haven’t really seen nor heard anything about this guy to know!

I'd be looking moreso at the fact that he polled more votes in the BnF than Brownless and Idun, who both got picked up mid draft and the fact that the Falcons have a good record for spotting blokes
