Go back to the St Kilda board, or the Dreamteam thread pls.
Should have played round 1 and delisted Thomas last year instead of signing him and the other frauds up.

Fancy having to watch Thomas, Gibson, Swallow & Thomas consistently **** things up, whilst boomer sits in the box with the empty suitcase.

Thats a fallacy. Both Atley and Jmac played the same number of games last year.

Atley: 34 tackles.
JMac: 46 Tackles.

He's ahead in pretty much every other stat too. It's not even a question which is the more expendable of the 2.

Here's the damning one, McMillan averages significantly more Rebound 50s per game than Atley, and Atleys the one whose only asset is rebound and speed.
What about this year?

Yes - give him McCarthy this week - has the mobility to go with him.
I seem to see Thompson constantly trailing opponents or arriving on the scene to stand on the mark seconds after an opponent takes it uncontested.
McCarthy will feast on Thompson at Subi. Even if he beats EVW he deserves a shot and a few shots too. Needs confidence to know he has a 4-5 week stint in the seniors. Was good in JLT and second half of VFL last year.
Is developing best out of the tall class of 2014 imo after all got a slow, injured, start.

This week's selections will confirm either way eh?

Nek minnet - Emergencies: EVW (as encouragement to show he's really really close)
I seriously, based on the past, think there will be no change.

North's equivalent to GWS's promotion of Kelly into the leader group (as encouragement to show he's really really wanted but atm cannot afford to pay him the big bucks)

Should be a great opportunity for EVW. He is coming in at the top of his game and should be brimming with confidence.

Now to finish with Swallow/Atley getting a demotion and Clarke to come in. Subi should suit his running ability.

Good luck VDUB - i think you will slot nicely into the backline - nice size to play on the 3rd tall or smaller types, reads the play well. Never to be out of the team again we hope!!
