Just checked it was the 3rd. Burst out of the middle and took a bounce then kicked it on the siren

I think he could go into the middle at times, would prefer he stayed forward mostly. Could really use an exciting small forward

This kid really excites. Went within a whisker of kicking goal of the year in his first AFL game. He is so good overhead. A vice like grip when he contests a mark. How exciting is the prospect of a forward line including Pickett, Weitering, Silvagni & Harry McKay?
Yep, Pickett should have gone the Checkside, from the boundary. Rather than trying to do the team thing and Centre the ball to the top of the square.
I feel very comfortable when he has the ball in hand. One of the best kicks on our list.

Will be interesting to watch how he goes over summer. As Bolts said, "preseason is important for Jarrod". Let's hope he can expand his endurance further.
While he played with a little more aggression/intent when he came back in the last part of the season, he always looks better playing in front where he can maximise his opportunities to get his hands on the ball rather than ducking out the back all the time.

The body never let him get a good run at it. Shame, he had some tricks.
