Played really well for Bendigo on the weekend against the Pies... played mainly on a wing and high half forward and provided a lot of great runs through the middle. Surely will get the chance to prove everyone wrong at some stage this year.

I would be tempted to play him against an inexperienced Suns defence this week.

If he doesn't play this year hopefully we just paid out his contract, still don't understand why we got him? Ooo well not much we can do now

The rise of Crameri this year has probably spelt the end of Willo's career... i would still like to see him given some senior game time before the end of season though.

From memory, we downgraded our pick by 8 spots for him, and we most likely would have picked up the same person (Carlisle) either way...

Could be wrong.. but if thats the case..nothing.

Yeah it not like we gave up much for him if anything, if anything he might just have stopped us from overpaying some players to reach are salary cap limit:p. But hopefully this is his last year it's just been another part of our poor trading over the last decade but again not much we can do now and hopefully we learn from the past.

A bad Monfries game is usually always going to ground in contests, and overall barely being sighted.

A bad Stanton game is having around 20 touches, 15 of which are good, but 5 of which are really bad.

It only takes a few incidents for people to remember.

Also applies to Slattery (who was great on Didak) and Myers. Possibly Hooker, too.

I can sort of understand why idiots who don't look at the balanced picture don't rate defender X or Y. Monfries is meant to be making the play.
He's been squeezed out.

Not that I'm underestimating GC, but I'm in favor of giving Williams a run this Sunday. His VFL form hasn't been anything spectacular but I think the confidence he'll obtain from earning a senior inclusion could be invaluable.

Nar i'd prefer to give monfries a confidence booster, if the reports are true and williams couldn't give to shits about playing 2's stuff him.

Disappointed he wasnt at least included in the Sunday squad... has done more than Davey has for Bendigo... especially last week.

Really hope that Willo keeps performing in the VFL and that Hirdy gives him a chance to prove everyone wrong. His experience alone is invaluable.

His form has been good enough - not outstanding - for Bendigo.

Expect thay he will get a run of two to 4 games during the year.

With Little and Dickson kicking so many goals for Bendigo it is really limiting Willo's influence in the side, Willo seems to be playing almost on the wing...

Can't see him getting into the side at the moment...
 
I'd do the Williams trade again. We gave up pick 16, Nash and 42 for Williams, 24 and 33. We would have taken Carlisle at 16 or 24 either way, so in essence we get a 9 pick upgrade and Williams for Nash. Take that to the bank.

Not sure if Williams would be stoked with doing it again.

Was having a solid stalking session and found his facebook, where he had left multiple scathing attacks on essendon....

What else would you expect from hawthorn scum though hey.
