Never heard of him but I love this move. 19yo, great runner and has lots of development in him. Obviously we've been watching him for awhile. Low risk with potentially high upside.

Especially for pick 99!

Absolutely minimal risk with huge upside that fits the age profile of a rebuilding side.

Won't pretend to know much about the lad because I don't, but welcome to the club Patrick. Looks like he fills a big need for us, and in the right age bracket. Club told us they have liked him for a while so happy to back the club in.

Always respect the way Blair goes about his business. Would hate to operate like the Saints, or Essendon do. We are always much better off operating in good faith like we did in this instance. Delisted or not, it is good for everyone all involved. We do not have the list spot to even use that late selection anyway but I bet Patrick will be absolutely stoked the club he grew up barracking wants him to be there.

If some slipped tackles is the worst you can say for 19 year old ? He is very welcome RFC, especially with the development we will put around him and the same aged guys to grow with him...

Highlights clearly only show the positive sides of a player, but not sure I've ever seen Kamdyn make some of those kicks in the club posted highlights package.

Even if he was an average kick of the ball, would still have plenty of traits to take the punt on at AFL level.

Very good endurance runner. Used to run 800m at national junior level.
Big bodied. Strong.
Not the quickest around.
Skills are more than adequate
A free hit on a kid 1 year in the system who is a natural winger that likes to attack.

As I understand it ... Contract runs until end of October they are not actually delisted when it is announced ...they have been told they won't be offered another contract .... so technically Blight and Kosi etc are still on our list for another couple of weeks

Players aren’t technically ‘delisted’ until list lodgement occurs, they’re just not going to be offered a new contract I guess. But yeah there must be another reason why we did this, I’d say someone else was sniffing round (maybe west coast with their x4 rookie draft gifts from the AFL). Retschko being a Tiger fan probably alerted us to that once he knew we were keen
