Does the dirty work in the guts realising the other midfielders works so hard and tuff as nails. The Fridge.
thought fridge was pretty average really, shadowed neale who had 37 times at excellent efficiency, 10 clearances and 2 goals. jacks first quarter was terrible and after that he was a lot better but still spent most of the day chasing lochie and only got it 14 times with 5 clangers and no clearances. each to their own and as we know he's as tough as nails but i did not rate jacks game at all in fact i had him, ellis, houli, baker, nank and soldo as reasonably poor.

Can’t believe how powerful he is right through from the head down to his little toe. The commentators Saturday night were in awe of his physical power and mental toughness . He’s the type of bloke you wouldn’t go to dinner if he invited you bc of his crushing appetite for humans. 😯He makes people feel the dirt and they remain hurt after he walks off. Can’t believe people found weaknesses in his game when this guy opens up the midfield for blokes like Cotchin and Sheds with his wrecking ball tackles, bumps, hits and pressure applications on opponents.
Every coaches dream to have a bloke so young on their list who’s capable of doing these dirty deeds.
Also his daisy cutter passes are becoming another weapon in his game and very pleasing to watch as they were becoming almost phased out of the game.

Love your summary TI. I always thought he just needed to slowly develop his possession game to go with his pressure and he'd be very good. Right now I'm seeing the outline of a player close to A grade. IMHO he's got the tools to be that 25 possession, massive pressure player that you can build a midfield around. Potential to be a multiple AA (if the selectors know what makes a team good).

If he gets there we have won so much in picking him. At worst I reckon he'll be a solid B+ grader that is one of the first picked every game.

I'm not as observant as you are on the stuff he does under packs, the tackle pressure, etc. What I have noticed is that the delivery going forward has really improved to the point where I'm totally confident with the ball in his hands.

has a unique trick in his bag where he takes possession then changes direction inboard to bring the play back towards the danger spots. It's not lightening quick but he seems to always have the time and space. Knows how to find the gaps despite not being the fastest. It also shows up when he's close to goal. Finds space and slots them.
