Player Watch #34: Jack Graham - Part 2

I remember once he blew up the gun at 34k's, not sure he has ever gotten near that again.

Majak Daw is the fastest player ever clocked at 35.6! Surprising, must have been in full 100 metre mode. Gary Rohan is really quick. Jayden Hunt ran 34, is very quick. Johannisen 33. Young Maurice Rioli is super quick over a short distance.

Maybe at full tilt Graham can hit a good speed at full tilt, but off the mark he is not fast, what really matters in football. Can run at good speed all day.
Been a few more additions since Daw, Markov the current fastest ever at 37.4!

Fastest current tiger is George at 35.5 C3482B62-7B93-4E7A-8105-253E37E1C0D6.jpeg 3C251D9D-9415-4CBC-8E44-B254C736906D.jpeg

Castagna clocked his 35.5 running through the banner.
It wasn't getting to a contest.
I’m not as down on George as some of you guys but I must admit that made me chuckle

Not many down on Graham, a bit the opposite. I think most posters recognise him as a good player, some question his ability to make it as a bone fide midfielder, which is fair enough. The question of his speed has been debated more than the player himself.

He’s a finals player. Too slow for regular season matches. Will never be an A grade mid because of this.
Not big enough to be a stoppage bull and not quick enough to be outside mid.
Stop! Your facts hurt my feelings!

Not much being said about this bloke. 2nd in the JD and had a pretty good year all things considered.

Reckon he's primed to go next level, I'm talking Jack Steele next level. His game is very similar to Steele's, gut running from contest to contest, elite defensive game with high tackle numbers and pressure acts, can hit the scoreboard, not blessed with speed but can accelerate when needed, has a good inside and outside game with similar leadership qualities.

We'll see much more of Jack around stoppages and being more of a clearance specialist, his best games this year were all in our wins and with a bit more consistency of role I can see him taking over the mantle of No.1 mid.

I hope so, he seem to continually get shuffled to forward line. better in the middle

Jack, Graham that is, might well be on the verge of breaking out into a genuine A grader next year. He has proven to be able to get large numbers, still doing the defensive work, and has lovely skills. I hope the coaching group are looking at promoting his role in the team. He could help turn our old midfield into a young dynamic group quick smart.
Needs to model his game on a fully fit prestia

Where does he even play? I don’t see him at Centre bounces.

I don’t see the point in him. Too slow and can’t get enough of the ball.
people say he's not slow. maybe not when he's in motion. but off the mark he is
